Let’s face it, back to school time is stressful for everyone involved…students, parents, and teachers alike. It’s even stressful for those innocents out there who don’t have kids in school or teaching jobs. They are just trying to get to work without being stuck in back of a bus making stops!
Ah yes…back to school. As soon as I hear commercials repeating that phrase, I start mourning those soon to be gone, sleeping past 5am mornings, that I’ve become accustomed to.
When my son hears the phrase, he hides beneath the covers and threatens a hunger strike. Don’t even mention that he’s lucky to not have to go back until after labor day, and that some kids go back in mid-August.
That’s when the growling starts!

I couldn’t decide between throwing up some much needed humor for the kids or for us adults having to deal with our kids. So, I went with both.
